My version of a "Pontchartrain" bench. It is made of cypress with inlaid stripes of red cedar and some hidden struts of teak for added strength. I know I will have to refinish frequently, but I couldn't resist putting on the polyurethane.

My newest woodworking effort---sort of Art Deco bedside table. I followed a plan published in Woodworking Journal. The wood is mahogany with wenge trim.
